The master artisans behind the Credor Signo Skeleton (GBBD998 / GBBD987) form a legendary, historic duo in Japanese watchmaking. This watch was the very first collaboration between two of the most highly decorated craftspeople in the country’s history—both of whom were awarded the prestigious Medal with Yellow Ribbon by the Emperor of Japan for their irreplaceable lifetime contributions to their respective fields.

The real soul of the GBBD987 is the ultra-thin, manual-wind Calibre 6899A.
Ultra-Thin Engineering: The base movement is a staggering 1.98mm thick. To skeletonize a movement that thin requires terrifying precision; removing too much metal from the mainplate or bridges would cause the entire structure to warp under the tension of the mainspring.
The Hand-Engraving: Every single square millimeter of the remaining gold-plated bridges and plates is meticulously hand-engraved. The engraving features traditional Japanese floral and wave motifs—most notably, an abstraction of the Imperial Chrysanthemum.
